The NSSA Nationals is the Super Bowl of amateur surfing and the 2008 event went off with great surf and hardcore ripping from all the competitors. Santa Cruz's Nat Young was crowned the Men's Open Champion and put on a blistering display at Lower Trestles. Also check out Brent Reilly, Luke Davis, 10 year old Kanoa Igarashi and Jake Davis all racking up big scores in the overhead surf.
